Forslaget ændrer lov om nordisk samarbejde og justerer reglerne for valg af suppleanter til den danske delegation til Nordisk Råd. Forslaget indebærer, at der fremover kan vælges 16 ikke-personlige suppleanter til den danske delegation, der så vidt muligt afspejler Folketingets sammensætning. Ændringen skal sikre en mere smidig anvendelse af suppleanter, når medlemmer er forhindret i at deltage i delegationens arbejde, hvilket er vigtigt for at sikre, at danske synspunkter afspejles i rådets arbejde. Loven træder i kraft den 1. januar 2026.
